Hey, I'm Karlee. I'm a Georgia girl. Born in the city and raised in the country, I grew up on 26 acres of absolute freedom. Beautiful woods and wide open spaces (and the fact that television was almost non-existent in my house) encouraged a creative spirit and I started making up stories and magical worlds for entertainment at an early age. My dog, cats, horses, and occasionally, my little sister, often filled out my cast of characters.
Growing up, I studied piano (hated it), classical voice (liked it), and theatre (loved it). I have Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and Theatre from Shorter College.
Besides writing, I love fiction, comics, traveling, history, margarita nights with my girlfriends, and fantasizing about dying my hair a rich, rich red.
I live in Georgia with my Yorkie, Saint Augustine, a.k.a. Auggie.
